Thanks Big Dog for the continual reminder of ''trade 'em'' ... I've been more actively trading again; we are getting more volatility here within this move up. As an example I've bought & sold VTS 3 times of late; sold today on a 9% move today that I think may have been partly on Yahoo's mistaken printing of a new analyst price target on "VTS" of $80 something !!! this unfortunately was for ''Veritas SOFTWARE company'' so I sold for all most $2 pop... I'll buy back once again - setting a limit buy of $14 7/8ths for today & will sell again in high $16's - probably this week... now if RON would just drop to about $25 again... NOI, GIFI & UFAB look ready to break out to me... and all 3 great companies. What I really LOVE here, is that we are still at price levels that one can ''NOT" get stuck here with anything... FGI will have it's day...this is a $4 1 day ''pop'' waiting to happen. -When does FGI report ? I have one of those ''warm & fuzzy'' feeling they will BEAT estimates and if they announce new contracts and positive ''mo-mo'' on the backlog ---> ''To the Moon , Alice'' !!! I may need to leave for the day; I bought some Internet stocks today - hey, if you can't beat 'em - join em ! There is a DLJ Internet Conference this week and a few others to follow; with Yahoo reporting earnings - we will see another ramp up; I am trading only here; not AOL YHOO AMZN; but the smaller niche players... This game is NOT over yet; it will end - but NOT any time soon imho; but it WILL end in a not so pretty fashion. My weekend research says it's moving on up..... I'm hitching a ''short'' ride here - trying to raise some cash for my FGI, GIFI & UFAB trades by pick-pocketing some of those Net-boys .... this is insane; but when in Rome - ... If you really want to make your day; a business associate of mine has a computer geek son - his term, not mine; 16 years old. His son received a $40K from Grandparents - has traded it to $400K at age 16 in less than one year on all Internet & tech stocks; mainly Amazon, Yahoo, CMGI & the big names... Nothing more than buy and holding, but uses margin... and some trading.. This Internet-mania has created some potential teenage Millionaires... literally - unreal... the key will be; how many will get to ''keep'' that Million $ ... He had me try to talk his son into taking some profits... it's the ''kids'' account that his father set up for him; kid is using margin and making a killing - won't stop... we'll see what the rest of the story is... Only in America; A 16 year old kid; can now - buy & sell his Father; could make $1 Million on this ''mania'' ...
