I think there are 6 Deltas dated in post 5119. The only other launch with an option for SS/L to use if G* doesn't need it is the mega-expensive Ariane 4. We do NOT want G* to have to use that rocket to lift only 6 birds into orbit--way too expensive.

As for the nine-solid launches from Vandenberg, which appear to be the two late fall launches--I would guess, and it is a total guess, that those would still be 4 sat launches and the nine solids are needed because of the launch location(Iridium uses that configuration).

I think the concern about crews is warranted. There is only so much equipment and so many people available. The times where Soyuz and Delta overlap will strain the resources. Expect some delays or schedule rejiggering.

No doubt that a big fat press release was timed to pump the offerings. Schwartz knows how to raise money, that is a fact. I also think that this robust launch schedule was needed to even attempt an offering. Now they have everything in place--$, launchers, partner support, etc. NOW GO!!!
