I've got a big list I'm researching of mostly obscure securities that
trade by appointment only. Also check out a discussion group, I've
just set up for bankrupt bank and savings and loan securities not
involved with the FIRREA goodwill lawsuits.

When I'm done with my research, I'll publish it here.

Prospects are bad for an early settlement, since the FDIC has no
incentive to settle early. They would rather fight to the end. That
way no one can criticize them for giving away taxpayer money, since
the courts will set the payment amount.
