serious problems of Ameritrade. I am with Ameritrade from the beginning. I am not a day trader, but trust me I got all the problems folks complaint here. Now I am thinking about close my account with them because: 1) It is almost impossible to put a sell order and followed by a buy order in the same day because you can't get confirmation of the sell order. I would rather to pay $100 for each trade for safety. 2) Most important is my concern of the Y2K problem AMTD may have. They have this lousy system for couple years now, no any improvement. It seem that it a very old system and no any technical support at all. It will be too bad if in Jan, 2000 the system is shut down for couple month or my account is lost.
