Alliance Broadcasting Group Begins Nasdaq Application
INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance Broadcasting Group (OTC Bulletin Board: RADO - news) announced today that it has retained the law offices of Gregory Bartko, Esq., Atlanta, Georgia, to begin the process of registering the company's common stock under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 as is now required by the NASD's new listing rules for the over- the-counter bulletin board market.
According to Joe Newman, Alliance's CEO, ''With the acquisition of Northern Radio Network, we feel that the company will have the required assets and other listing qualifications in order to successfully gain listing on the Nasdaq's Small Cap Stock Marketâ„¢, which the company will pursue as a part of the registration process. The Nasdaq would have to approve the company's listing application once filed. We are pleased that Mr. Bartko, an experienced securities lawyer, will be handling this effort for our company.''
Alliance currently owns and operates 13 radio stations in Florida, Michigan and Indiana and is in the process of acquiring additional station properties.
Bartko added, ''As a part of the registration process, the company will retain a qualified auditing firm to audit the financial statements of the company for the last two years. We are in the process of interviewing and retaining auditors now. Hopefully, if there are no delays in the registration process, and subject to SEC approval, the registration statement can become effective sometime in the first quarter.''
