Digital Home Theater Named Winner of Design Award at WCES '97
NEW YORK, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Projectavision Inc announced today that it has agreements with 13 leading consumer electronics representatives throughout the United States to handle U.S. sales and marketing at the regional level for its Digital Home Theater(TM) system. The product is to be introduced at the end of the first quarter.

Digital Home Theater Is Honored At 1997 Winter Consumer Electronics Show
Projectavision also announced that Digital Home Theater was a recipient of the Innovations '97 Design and Engineering Showcase Award at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show bestowed by a panel of judges from the Industrial Designers Society of America, as well as members of the engineering and consumer electronic trade press. The award is sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Manufacturers Association (CEMA).

According to Projectavision, Digital Home Theater is the first product of its kind to combine a 60-inch rear projection television, a front projection home theater that delivers high quality images from 60 to 260 inches in size, and a large front or rear screen VGA or SVGA computer display. The easy-to- use system weighs less than 100 pounds, and includes Texas Instruments' Digital Light Processing(TM) projection technology, the company said.
