Joey - Re: " SGI is trying to "differentiate" their XEON-based workstations from the Dells and Compaqs of the world?" SGI IS differentiating by using their own SYSTEM LOGIC chips and GRAPHICS sub-systems. These will give SGI a performance advantage - albeit at a price premium. Paul
