Kevin,
I hope you don't mind if I write you. It sounds like the two of you were wrestling around out there on the dance floor. In my opinion a gentleman will accomodate a lady in how she wishes to be held on the dance floor, even if it is uncomfortable. If you cannot agree on a dance position you should sit down, as power struggles on the dance floor can get ugly. If you really like this woman DO NOT assume it
is her age that is the problem. It is much more likely that you were being physically aggressive in the way you held her, without realizing it, and she obviously tried to communicate what she did want. Many men I have danced with like to have an altogether firmer hold on me than I am comfortable with. If you really care about this woman I would approach her very delicately, by perhaps apologising for embarrassing her and telling her you certainly did not realize you had, then asking for some clarification as to the groping. Women love to enlighten men, just look at me, so chances are she'll be happy to discuss it with you if you are contrite enough.

Best of luck and let us know how it turns out,

Alexa
