<<P.S. Just a couple questions for the BEARS (you know who you are). Are any of you current shareholders and if so, why? If not then why are you dedicating so much time and effort in something you are bearish on?>>
Russell,
Since you asked me specifically to respond to this post so I will. I was long and sold Friday at 3 3/16. I expected profit taking and wanted to get a better feel for company to determine if I wanted to re-buy and hold until the product came out in Feb. My decision is not to re-buy, but to invest elsewhere. My decision is based on the following factors:
1. The number of shares that could potentially hit the market is to large. Shares hitting the market every month including most likely now, from debenture conversion, is a serious red flag if you want a stock to move higher.
2. Rods comments regarding the company's products are IMO very accurate, including the potential for Windreniline never to make it to market. I will remind you they expected to be ready to ship in Nov 96. I do not like the idea of a software replacing the multitasking functions in WIN95 - I don't think they can do it effectively without serious bugs, and with Win97 just around the corner, Windereniline may be obsolete before it hits the shelf or soon after.
3. The demo saved me a few seconds in load time - I saw no other performance savings - not enough reason for me to get excited about this software or this company.
For me, the risk reward ratio now makes this a trade which does not meet my criteria for purchasing. This does not mean the stock won't go higher, it only means that for me, the easy, safe money I expected has been made, so I will move on. For those of you long - I hope it makes you a great deal of money.
