As soon as the stock is halted the TSE clears the bids on the stock until they announce the stock halt is lifted!! When the TSE is about to lift the halt, they go out and sample all the orders from the brokerage houses and start pairing them out. The reason they do that is so that after you read the NR you can make the choidce of removing your bids or offers. This is done at your brokerage level computer!
