Well Kevin, you sound like an extremely nice person here! A real boor would have figured Amy had the problem, opened a beer with his buddies, and made some derogatory jokes about females while he scratched himself and belched. Alexa is right about the wrestling on the dancefloor. Sounds like BOTH of you weren't communicating very well. We've been pretty hard on you--it could be that Amy bears some responsibility here! If you honestly believe that you weren't out of line, and that you weren't out of your mind drunk,then her e-mail was an either an over-reaction or, as you mention, a reaction to something else or an weird way of ending the relationship. Either way, unlike Christine and Alexa, I say, don't agonize over yourself and your behavior. Life is too short! Oh, but don't trust your friends' opinions--guys don't notice this stuff. Go with the female point of view. And if you really want to know how different we think, read Men Are From Mars-- I think you're probably good with women. Look at all the attention you're getting here. Pretty clever!
