Cold Fusion's strength is not only in it's database access capabilities which are quite powerful. It has emailing capabilities - both automatic generation of emails and ability to read and respond. It also has excellent file handling capabilities. You can receive files via the http file tranfer protocols - meaning you can send files "through" a web page - and also move, copy and delete files anywhere in a network. You can also read and write text files. Once you have developed a system, there is an encoder that can encode all of your html files - important for distributing an application so that others can steal your code.
