To anyone: FORE is a solid data networking company, right?

Ok, if that's so why wouldn't LU be interested in FORE...or why wouldn't a LU competitor be?

Trying to figure this puzzle out and just stepping into this labrynth for the first time. Any insight appreciated--don't need paragraphs to understand.
