Hi Imran - ugly few days - more to come I suspect

IMO all we need are for stronger revenues to make their way into the quarterlies. The ICI sale was too late to make it into the last one. Recent sales also would not be there.

The market appears to have become impatient waiting for these figures and the share price is dropping. I suspect that it will continue to drop further and find a bottom - don't know where - maybe until the next FS in the early spring. I'll buy more at the bottom - hoping that's what it is when I buy!

Everything that I can gather indicates that the company continues to move ahead well and it looks very good from the business development side.

The second half of 1999 will be much better - till then it may just be a matter of grinning and bearing it.

I would think that things will begin to pick up following the next quarterly in the spring. I would also like to see a strong News release at the time of the next quarterly. If so I would highlight the progress the company is making - and making direct references to numbers in the quarterly.

I don't believe that more good News - by itself - will do anything other than create a temporary surge then fall back. Look at the response following the August News of the ICI/K-G Packaging linkages - which in some ways was more substative than the April 21 News - with key partnerships being formalized.

I remain confident that NIR will do very well - and I'm giving it the time it needs. Putting it on the back burner for now.

Below -30 C here this morning :-(

David.
