Bob Bishop, writing in the December 15, 1998 edition of his Gold Mining Stock Report, says that while Strathmore Resources doubled in price during late October and early November, anyone contemplating a sale should be patient. Mr. Bishop recommended Strathmore in March 1997 at $2.15, again in July 1997 at 63 cents, and once more in May 1998 at 41 cents. It traded at 46 cents when Mr. Bishop wrote his current report. The respected California letter writer says Strathmore remains a long-term uranium play but that short-term trading in it can also be a profitable strategy. Testing is taking place that may see the company producing uranium from the Macusani project in Peru at a profit, even at today's depressed prices. Mr. Bishop correctly predicted that Strathmore would have a strong bounce within 30 days of his report; it reached 60 cents on Jan. 4, 1999.
