I don't see a lot of people on this thread basing investments on wild speculation. It seems that most of the people on this thread have made educated decisions based on the available facts. In fact, i don't see a lot of wild speculation on this thread at all. There is the occasional post from left field, of imminent doom from anonymous posters. There are also those posts that we will be at so and so price by the end of the week or month. Yes these are speculations, but i don't necessarily think that they are wild. It is only natural to expect upside movement when positive news is made public. Natural yes, likely to happen here? Not lately. There are also many brokerage firms with similar price targets, so these posts don't seem that far off base. You also don't see merger and buyout rumors running rampant around here. All in all, i think that the regular posters here are doing a fine job. I agree that we get overly excited at times. And we are often wrong in our guesses to price movement. I know i am.

I for one, also appreciate the posts on stock movement and buys and sells, i only have charts to look at and it is usually hard to tell what a specific transaction was.

My earlier post about DIMD and S3 was an honest attempt to explore an area that i think is of interest to this group. Aren't we all interested in the new products and when they are going to come out and whether S3 is going to directly market them to the public or just manufacture them for others to put on cards and sell. I think that it would be very important to all S3 investors if S3 were to start directly marketing to the public. It could be very positive. But i am sure that on the other hand that there are also negatives. Maybe with their ad campaigns they are trying to become a more well known name for just that purpose. Just mild speculation.
