The kind of information you are going to like. The following is part of the e-mail I received from EarningsWhispers.com. Tomorrow will be a blockbuster day for YHOO, INTC and AOL. This message is a little longer than I intended. However, I thought I should share this with the YHOO bulls so YHOO can run to 550 tomorrow.

"E*Trade (EGRP) started earnings season off right for Internet investors by reporting a loss of $0.23 for the first quarter ending December 31. 1998. The expectation was for little to no surprise over the estimated loss of $0.29. News of E*Trade beating the estimate and the whispers by 20% sent the stock up over 30% to close at $88.50, which is $13 5/8 above the previous 52 week high.

E*Trade is just the beginning of the surprises that should occur this week. The entire earnings season should consistently see Internet companies beating the estimates, but it will be interesting to see if the surprises are enough to sustain the current prices or send them higher. The first will be Yahoo! (YHOO) tomorrow. Yahoo! jumped $73 3/8 in anticipation of tomorrow's release to close at $417, which is nearly 17% above the previous 52 week high. The whisper numbers range between $0.19 and $0.21 per share vs. consensus estimates of $0.16. We've set our whisper number at the median of $0.20 but many are expecting even better than that -- anything less than $0.19 will likely be a disappointment. The top number we've heard was $0.25. We've also heard rumors that Yahoo! will announce a split tomorrow.

Another company that is reporting earnings tomorrow is also expected to announce a stock split. - Intel (INTC). Intel beat estimates last quarter by $0.10 and the outlook is good for this quarter as well. The range of estimates is between $0.90 and $1.12 with a consensus of $1.04. Prudential's estimate for tomorrow is $1.10 and that is our whisper number as well. Intel was up nearly $10 in anticipation of tomorrow's earnings and the split to close at $139.75. Today's close was $8.25 above the previous 52 week high. You may hear Intel's conference call at 402-220-0156 beginning at 4:30 PM EST."
