All of your points are well-taken, Rod, and I have to admit I am one of those folks who gets MUCH more value out of the negative takes than the positive.

I think what we can both agree on is that future profitability of SYCR is by no means assured. I'm seeing it as more likely than not, and your view is vice-versa.

We're not too far apart on this one.

For example, I do see products in the pipeline that are worthless, IMHO. Windrenalin is the one I'm banking on (and am very excited about it, negative points notwithstanding), but I agree with you on BurnIt, but would add one thing: Not only do I think the program has poor potential, I *hope* the common end-users will stay away from it in droves!

There are a small number of people who could really use this program, and they'll buy it. And a few home users might buy it if it gets hyped as "protecting your valuable data from ending up on the net".

One only need remember the "Fraudigy" scare of a few years back to see how gullible most users are. They rely on folks like you and me, Rod, and when a few "geeks" (I'm proud enough to be one, my license plate is "PC-GEEK") tell them Prodigy is making use of its buffer file to transmit their valuable information back to Prodigy, no amount of explanation of the true workings of the File Allocation Table can allay their fears.

I'm pretty damned good with a PC, but would be *screwed* if I had something like BurnIt running on my machine, especially if it "burns" files automatically (I don't know that it does). There have been plenty of times I've inadvertently deleted something I want, and I appreciate being able to get it back. In fact, SALVAGE is one of the bigger reasons I run a Novell server in my house. The biggest reason is because of the undeniable "Gee Whiz" factor. *LOL*

Personally, I feel very strongly about this company being solidly past $5 by the end of this year. I feel there is a *slight* chance of it being $20+, and an equally slight chance of it being $2. If Windrenalin makes it big, I see $20+. If it embarasses the company, I still think the rest of its products will keep it around $5, with a slight chance of staying around $2.

I think the next two weeks will be the most important ones for this company and I won't add to or subtract from my position until these two weeks are history.
