Thanks for a nice summary of SVG's business prospects. I also note from Baseline that Intel, Motorola, and Texas Instruments each hold a stake in the company, so they can't be all that bad. Perhaps the lagging performance of the stock is because investors see small cap members of the sector as more risky in a downturn. They are still $3 below book value. First Call consensus is for them to lose $0.63/sh this year and make $0.62 next year. Even if that rate of loss continued for four years, the book value would still not get down to the current stock price, which is why I bought some a few days ago.
