Brooke:

Interesting. We often miss the point of what is a hi-cap or low-cap stock. If we did a scan on all stocks: price x outstanding shares we would have the measure of Cap. if we took the top 50%, would that be high cap? or should it be 25%?

You will be surprised how many low price stocks are high cap or high priced ones that are low-cap. Even in the top 10%.

Then we have blue-chip, what does that mean? S&P 500? Anyone look at them to see their history or what elements make up their profile? It is enlightening to do this. How many other stocks have this profile?

Institution/fund ownership? what does that mean? good or bad. The more funds are in picture, the less attractive to me. What about a list of INt/fund owership stocks? history? profile.

We make decisions in life based on our perceptions. Hopefully they are based on studies, not from others but ourselves. With the data available, it is amazing how little true study has been done on market, especially in the funnymental area.
