Jake, It is hard for individual investors to move MSFT. They are busy with the net stocks. I think the big funds are also playing the net now. I guess they realize what they have missed out. Notice how
E-Trade did great this quarter----why stick with a mutual fund which won't buy internet stocks. I think they got the message (good or bad) and are adding more buying pressure to these stocks.

MSFT is due for a big move---starts defense against DOJ Wednesday---anticipated stock split even if it does not happen will push this stock much higher. MSFT is just waiting for some of the momentum investors to get out of stocks like INTEL(i am not saying Intel drops). Momentum investors can push stocks to very high levels very fast.

BTW--What do you think the big brokerages ---Morgan Stanly, Merrill, Goldman etc think about the net stocks. I bet they want to push up the traditional stocks and how can they do this---upgrade or raise target prices. This will happen to MSFT, no doubt about it.
