Some thoughts about BBN possibilities. The FCC will be ruling on funding the Universal Service provision of the Communications Act. This provision provides for free (or very reseasonable) Internet service to all public libraries and schools. In May the FCC will announce the establishment of a 2+billion dollar fund to finance this. I can't believe that BBN will not somehow share in this pot. BBN has a strong foothold in the education market. BBN needs to show a profit and then it will soar.
