What you are talking about is software for the PC controller. The voice in IP is not relevant to how the signal can be interpreted and managed. VoIP is voice. How is this different from analog copper? It isn't. Just cheaper for the carrier to deliver voice digitally in IP protocol. The fact that they are on the same line has no consequence. How is that different than having two lines bound together?
