Ken: StochRSI is similar to RSI -- but it gives much better signals. Try StochRSI with these variables in QP: 8/8/5/e; 14/14/14/e; and 10/10/10/e. Make sure you set daystoload high enough (for example, 500 days) in the scan so that you get accurate numbers. The buy signal is generally when StochRSI rises up through 30, and the sell signal when it falls back through 80 or 70.

Here's a basic scan for values:

output="stochrsi.lst";
Daystoload=500;
integer i;

//for i = -2 to 0 step 1 do

set stochrsi = 8, 8, 5, e;

println symbol , ", ", stochrsi(0);
//next i;

You could add:

if stochrsi(0)>30 and
stochrsi(-1)<30
.....
endif;
