To be honest Frank.......80% or more of the time...the gap is the time to sell.....YOu should get the Chief's thoughts on this but I bet he would agree.....
However......not today was it....opened up at 5.75..which was a small gap of .25 and she did not look back really....Who knows.

In this case frank, I would CLOSELY watch the US stocks.....IF they are opening up strong which you should know by the pre-opening trading I would scoop some.

BUT......here is another practice that has helped me......IF you know that tomorrow you want to own the stock......I would suggest buying 1/2 of your wanted position at the open and watching for about 10 minutes or so.....buying half has always calmed my nerves where it then feels like...if the stock runs, I buy more but my average is always less than current trading range....or...if it goes down, I average down on the selloff and usually catch a bounce....This avoids having to be " right " on the one decision........hedging your mental anquish can be very helpful to trade successfully.....

As well...remember how nicely you sold....you have not given up much profit and even if she gaps up .50....it was a .50 insurance policy you took out....no problem....trade it again.

go get em Frank......enjoy.
