Terry, I've never been "...exuberant" since the late seventies--- when every stock in Silicon Valley that I bought, with just a few hundred dollars each , turned spectacular performances! Those were the days when I have just a scant knowledge about stocks, about PE's, earnings, charts, etc. All I relied upon were my reflexes, my instincts. Then, thru the years, as I gained knowledge and master such PE's and the like, the magic of superior stock picking was gone! Only recently did I found out about those PE's, earnings, charts, etc.---they are all records of the past, they may point to the future, but I can not be fully sure about them...any unexpected happening could alter each of these guidelines or measures! Then the old magic came back! Relying back to my reflexes and instincts, I see beautiful things ahead!...

It helps though that I was born 3 years ahead of the first Baby-Boomer (those born from 1946 to 1964) and have 4 children--- 2 boys and 2 girls that are Baby-Boomlets ( those born 1977 to 1994). Numbers can do wonders. Years ago when I was buying bikes for my children, the sales-person was happy and smiled when I asked the price of 1 bike. When I told her I need 4 bikes, she smiled 3 more times!...
