<i think that it would be best to focus this thread on evaluating competitors. this is where we can really see what the market thinks and how it reacts vs. the hype.> Very good idea. I will do that and then contact mgmt. through the respective companies investors' relations sites in order to get thier opinion on the model's findings of thier respective performance. They can offer some very interesting perspectives as to thier use of capital as it relates to thier performance (the influence of true value analysis can be very powerful). I will post the responeses here and mirror and archive the findings on my website (in the New Media Financial Web) for all to access freely. Since I already started iwth Cascade, I may do a thorough analysis and compare them with a competitor (maybe Ascend - I am not that familiar wtih the business), or USRX and ZOOM etc. A very interesting question can be posed to MSFT's management, for they can increase thier EVA significantly by making more productive use of the 9 billion in cash that they are storing. No doubt they are waiting for a rainy day, but the wisdom in that tactic can be questioned.
