It's Baaaa-aacckk ! Made a run to Jacksonville tonight to check out my strawberry since I'm having kefir withdrawals. All the strawberry bottles in sight contained "white" colored kefir like I've seen the past couple months indicating no flavor. I believe LWAY may mix the juice concentrate flavoring with the beet juice (for coloring) then add that mixture to the kefir. I looked to the rear of the display and son of a b---- there was a rosy pink bottle with the latest (MAR03) date. Bought it, went out to the parking lot, took a swig, then felt like doing one of those Toyota commercial jumps in the air. Mr. Smolyansky, thanks. The cherry flavors were still very light compared to the normal light purple color and will wait for them to return to normal. The strawberry-banana is still not correct. Normally it's like the strawberry (rosy pink). These had inconsistent varying shades of very light pink to white. The last time I drank the straw-banana it had a slight banana only flavor, no strawberry. It wouldn't be bad if it was a more powerful banana taste. Had too much of a cultured milk taste. I'll wait. You guys may think I'm being nit picky here but no one has dropped by at work in a couple weeks to ask for a kefir run. Robert usually gets 2-3 cherries a week. Have seen him drink a bottle at lunch many times. Tom is another addict. He goes through a bottle a day, no exaggeration. Hoping this latest batch of tasty strawberry will continue and the other flavors will return to normal also. Steve
