OK Larry, If you insist, they can break even with 1800 cells per day, so be it. 5x60x8 still equal 2400 so 1800 can be made in 1 shift. My interpretation is 1800 batteries per shift.

Per your interpretation, if they could break even with 1800 cells per shift and 3 cells per battery it would be only 600 batteries per shift to break even.

I don't think they can turn them out that fast yet. I would prefer to use the more conservative interpretation of 1800 batteries per shift.
