Haven't you ever taken the path least traveled? Driven nowhere in particular, just to drive? Gone on a trip, without reservations or plans? Followed a trail without looking at a map to see where it ended? Climbed an ice waterfall freehand, with a pool of icy water rushing under you that disappeared under the ice? Gone off traveling with strangers you met an hour before over a couple glasses of wine? Spit off a bridge?...That's passion, irrational, spur of the moment,letting go, it loosens the societal constraints...That Is the point..it at least momentarily frees the mind to a different place..Perhaps the best goal is to have moments of passion interspersed with cool, calm, moments of reflection.... Balance.
