IMHO we "invest" for good reason, whatever that might be, and get bored if the stock doesn't rocket within days as most of us check the price at least several times a day if not tick by tick. Making the buy and hold seem to last a millenium when only a few days have past. Soon we need our fix and trade for a small profit or accept as little loss as possible and move on to another good idea. My recent pattern looks like this....BAMM to NAVR to AOL to LCOS to NSCP to ONSL...making only one good move out of BAMM. The rest would have made more if held...gotta have my fix.
