Ibexx -- Ya gotta count cards

to win at black jack, and its hard with a multi-pack deck, and the house bars you if you are any good at it. Really clever guys are running computer counting and are said to be getting rubbed. Lots of books at
casinosontheweb.com
but it wouldn't surprise me if they sold selected lists to the casinos.

In my 'umble opinion, blackjack as a game is weak compared to trading options. The probabilities and expectations are theoretically (and practically) calculable. The casinos have to cheat to keep the ideal player from winning consistently. BJ is a game of risk. Options strategies are not even theoretically calculable, but almost everything depends on conditional probabilities depending in turn on real business conditions (like ordinary stock trading, but with much greater leverage) -- in short are uncertain. Consistent winning in the four horsemen (which I think lots of people on this thread do or at least claim to do) is, I think, unique in gambling history. Despite some apparent efforts (wickedly wide spreads, principal MM's etc.) the customers win amazingly often. Do you use Options Station or any analytical apparatus? I don't think its necessary. The house still has an edge in options trading, but it can be overcome consistently by shrewd instinctive trading.
Please don't waste your time with an inferior game like BJ. The casinos make it impossible for winners to win. Keep giving haircuts to the options market makers.
