marvin: I've been running the wireless version for the last four weeks btw a five-year-old Dell 486 (Win95) and a new Aptiva E5U (Win98). A few initial glitches with the gateway software which allows both machines to use the same ISP connection, but otherwise smooth sailing. Advertised speed of 1MB/sec is faster than I'm seeing, but I have no real need for speed. Transferring all my files from the Dell to the IBM was a breeze, and automatic backup of data files from the new machine to the old eliminated my need for a tape drive. At $199 it's not cheap, but so far so good. Charlie
