I have heard, still hearsay, however reliable, that Greenspan will speak on 1/22 about the Internet stock mania.

Why not do it in his upcoming congressional testimony, which I believe is the 20th? He should have said something the other day in his speech in HK (I think that was where he was). He better step up to the plate quick, but I am not convinced he has the guts, or even worse, cares about the relative small fry that are driving this. They are small enough to fail and he doesn't want to take down the whole market.

We are starting to see the problem of "wild" stock gains moving into the non-Inut groups which is a bad news sign so his inaction could result in his worse fears anyway.

Regards, Ice
