I don't think it really matters. The earnings amount and growth have remained relatively steady for quite a long time now. It goes along like this for a while, then someone "discovers" the book value and EPS and it gets popular again. Oddly enough, you will likely see it run when the Semi Cap Equip stocks (AMAT, NVLS, GSNX) start up again around the middle of the year.
