I agree, but that does not make it right. It gets down to a debate about "when does one become human?" Which of course is unsolvable except through individual morality. I'm damn glad my Mom made the choice she did. She was offered the choice, and she did make it. The month before D-Day, 1944 was a poor time to become a mother. Of course you could argue that I would be unaware if she had made the opposite choice. But she would know, and my Dad would know. He lived to learn to fly at the age of 83, but always made choices that benefitted his offspring at the expense of himself until he had the freedom of old age. Theirs was a grand generation, the like of which mine doesn't hold a candle to. Excuse my ignorance: What's CWP? I'm not uncomfortable that Hitler and Pol Pot were males any more than I am that Christ, Ghandi, and Martin Luther King were. Black widow spiders kill their mates; male polar bears eat their offspring given the chance. Male humans hunt; females keep the campfire going. So what? That's just the way it is.
