the key is that the BOJ has made it fairly clear that the WANT a stronger yen. Yesterday's action was to just prevent a yen/dollar crash. BOJ has said they want a controlled rise in the Yen so yes, I would say this is a S-T event. A selling opp if you are Japanese.
