BELL EMERGIS/MPACT IMMEDIA CHOSEN TO PROVIDE ELECTRONIC COMMERCE PAYMENT SOLUTIONS FOR STRATEGIS (HTTP://STRATEGIS.IC.GC.CA)

Bell Emergis/MPACT Immedia announced today it has been chosen to
provide electronic commerce payment process services for Industry
Canada's Internet-based business service Strategis
(http://strategis.ic.gc.ca).
Strategis is the largest business web site in Canada, with over
10,000 visits per day. Strategis provides timely business and
consumer information, in addition to business management tools
and government services on the Internet. The @Commerce solutions
that comprise payment process services will expand and enhance
the services of Strategis.

able to purchase products and services on Strategis in a secure

including itemized billing, calculation of applicable taxes and
management of client account-based instruments. For registered
Strategis clients, a record of their account and approved payment
options will be created and maintained. Additionally, Bell

set of tools to support transaction and payment processes
including end-of-day settlement statements, support for returns,
reconciliation reports and a set of standard and ad-hoc reports
to analyze transaction activity and client purchasing patterns.
