Hi ZEUS:

Yes I also believe that NIR has a very bright future. I'm also not going to predict a bottom...and I will also use it as a buying opportunity. Even if there are good News releases over the next several weeks, I just don't see a strong recovery starting until the spring and following the next FS.

When the April 15, 21 '98 News came out very few knew of NIR and there was a lot of interest. Now that NIR has a track record and is more widely known I don't think that more News will really help the bottom line...though I also want to be kept upto date. There's a fine line between company hyping and informing investors of upcoming developments.

The August News of the ICI/K-G Packaging linkages should have enabled NIR to remain above its $2 level of support - it didn't - slow erosion since then. My take: good News is great - but the quarterlies tell it how it is - and the next one will have the ICI sale included - which is when I suspect that NIR will be able to begin and retain a sustainable recovery.

Until then there may be some surges around the time News is released - but the share price will just drop back again and drift toward its low - whatever that will be.

Turn the clock forward 6 to 9 months and NIR will have turned around.

Low of 0.82 thus far today - Ouch.

David.
