Netscape downgraded. RESEARCH ALERT - Netscape cut to hold NEW YORK, Jan 12 (Reuters) - Warburg Dillon Read said Tuesday that analyst Michael Wallace lowered his rating on Netscape Communications Corp. to hold from strong buy. -- In a note, Wallace cited the price appreciation in Netscape shares associated with its pending acquisition by America Online Inc. (NYSE:AOL - news). -- Kept strong buy rating on AOL but said that ''if the deal breaks for some reason, there is about 25 points in downside risk to NSCP shares.'' -- Netscape shares fell 1-15/16 to 67 early Tuesday.
