I was also at the CompUSA bait & switch-a-thon, not a Maxtor in sight. I did however snap up two Viewsonic PS790s 19" sweeties (competively priced, WHAT A SHOCK, at $550).Which I will hook to the multi-mon solution I finally decided on, Matrox Productiva G100 4-port ($600 and special ordered).

And I can't wait! Thanks to all who offered input on this topic. I will post some details when I have played with it a little.
