The only news that no one seems to be talking about is the potential of Polymet to purchase the neighbooring property. As I understand it, they offered to pay 100 cents on the dollar to the state Government for the property next to theirs that was owned by some(now) bankrupt company. All seemed to be going smoothly until some other huge mining company (don't remember the name) made claims upon the property. I was told that the hearing to figure this thing out will take place this Friday.

All told no matter what happens it should be good for POM:

1- they get the property and greatly increase the size of Northmet
2- This other monster company gets it, thereby adding a significant level of credibility to this whole affair.

Anyone know of anything to ad/correct??
