Hello Dave
***OFF TOPIC***
Do you lurk over here often?
I will see if I can track down an electronic version for you David, in the mean time, as you know, I have been requesting similar and updated information from you for some time and would love to see it on the GMD thread (in addition to what I requested of you this A.M.)
My recollection from Mr. Senn is that GMD also had some extremely attractive chemistry, which would be of interest to the market and this thread if you would widely publish your most recent probes, sampling map data and drilling schedule.
Thank you
Hello Andrew
Interesting….., so JK has picked this one up. May I ask if he also picked up CAV, MIY and GMD?
MIY and CAV along with Tanqueray have pieces of the Yamba Lake claims with SUF being the operator as you probably know. Additional grid sampling was conducted last Fall by Lisa and associates on a much tighter grid and processing for a smaller grain size in addition to re-sampling for confirmation where CAV had indicated outstanding results. I have not heard the results of this work, but since SUF have not dropped their Option, I would assume that they have confirmed the data.
It is my understanding that HB is planning to drill Yamba this Spring. CAV ran into indistinct target signals and dispersed lake bottom trains similar to SUF's experience last year at Munn Lake. As with Munn, I believe it is Howard's intention to start with sonic drilling through lake sediments and a few meters of bedrock down ice from what were if I recall five distinct target (lakes) where chemistry was cut-off up ice. ABZ has had good experience with the sonic drills allowing them to reach undisturbed (non wave reworked) gravel's near bedrock and Howard and CJ are banking on duplicating that clarity.
It is also worth noting that over half of these claims were never flown let alone sampled as of last fall and the grid used on what had been flown up until then was wider than what SUF would have typically used. I don't know what the magnesium and calcium plots look like at Yamba but I do know that large numbers of G-10's, and I believe Illmenites and Chromites (sp?) were found by CAV, I am not sure about Chrome Diopside but that is secondary. As I said, the CAV sampling was so suspect, that I would much rather go by what SUF have been able to confirm.
Why not give Lee or Howard a call and ask what the numbers look like? Would love to read your post of their reply (on another thread of course).
