Yet we know that there is a board meeting today at ASND to discuss an offer from LU. We know that ASND today is trading at a value that gives it a market cap of $ 16.5 Billion. How do you know what's being discussed at the board meeting? And LU buying ASND has been the longest running rumor on the street. Yes, and Elvis is alive. As I told one analyst today, I trust my sources and will let the story play itself out. Idid find one more quote, this from today's LATimes: Lucent spokeswoman Paula Horii said the company wouldn't comment on merger rumors, but she said it plans to build its data-networking business to respond to "the whole communications-networking revolution." I could make a case for her choice of the term "whole," but think I'd be whistling in the wind at this point. Learning patience --- Pat
