Demand proved him wrong. Sure looks like new markets will be opened by cheaper computers, the result of cheaper chips due to die shrinks. With the cheap Celeron prices, Intel has thrown margin caution to the wind, is cannibalizing the Pentium II/III in order protect market share in a market they denied even would exist just a year or two ago. On one front, they have adapted well. Down side is that 154mm2 die size... Jim
