Peppe -- I'm suggesting that all the stories to date have very little substance. It's amazing to see the conclusions drawn based on one comment from Ascend --- maintaining they're not on the block --- and Lucent, maintaining they won't comment. The fact that everyone's saying something doesn't make it true. Give me something to chew on, please. I looked quickly back to your posts in the last 2 days. Did you share with the thread what your sources are saying ? No, I haven't and I won't. Just know I can get no confirmation from either NN or LU that Lucent's buying Ascend. I have no contacts at Ascend. Call me stubborn. :)) Pat
