Paul,

Floating Point Matrix Manipulation with the KNI and 128 bit register set will be used to accelerate vector operations, fundamental to 3D spacial computations.

1999 will be remembered as the year for graphics hardware geometry engines. The matrix operations will be done on the other side of the AGP bus.

I feel sorry for all those 3D-Now and KNI execution units sitting around with nothing much to do ;^((
