Robert, I guess I'm very skeptical when it comes to the Chretien gov't. If it was'nt for Martin's unswerving dedication to cutting the deficit the Country would be in an untenable position by now. The big ? is - with the election comming up, can he stay on track. As far as hedging against the C$, I guess you could consider options. Although I would think that you would need to have a pretty big U.S. portfolio to make it worthwhile. James
