LOS ANGELES, Jan 12 (AFP) - Porn publisher Larry Flynt's probe of hypocritical
politicians in Washington focused Monday on Republican congressman Bob Barr, one of the
seven House managers acting as prosecutors in President Bill Clinton's impeachment trial.

Flynt, publisher of Hustler magazine, said Barr, a conservative Republican for Georgia and
vigorous anti-abortion activist, had apparently driven his former wife to have an abortion.

"This man stood on the floor of the House of Rep and said 'abortion is the equivalent of
murder,'" Flynt told reporters at a press conference held at the lavishly decorated office of
his publication headquarters, in Beverly Hills.

The wheelchair-bound publicist said there was a receipt for an abortion paid for by the congressman from Georgia.
