Thanks, Howard. Seems to me that the Boston system has been abandoned by CAI's support personnel? Maybe they got extinguished, too. But at least you are not being billed for the "bad" service... I also believe the "small amplifier" you refer to is actually your downconverter. And your GI cable modem must be external since it connects to a hub. It must have been really nice having the high-speed access when it worked. Really, really nice... Z
